FIRST AID MEASURES

Inhalation: Get medical attention if irritation or discomfort develops.
Eyes: Flush eyes with water for 15 minutes, holding eyelids open.  If irritation develops, obtain medical attention immediately..
Ingestion: Drink 1 or 2 glasses of water and induce vomiting.
Contact With Skin:  Wash with soap and water.

HAZARD IDENTIFICATION

Primary entry routes:
Inhalation and dust contact with eyes. As with any particulate material, inhalation may result in irritation, soreness of nose, sinuses and throat. In extreme cases some congestion may occur. Eyes may become dry or inflamed. Not hazardous when ingested. Skin may become irritated, but no absorption occurs.

Acute health effects:
Transitory upper respiratory, eye or skin irritation.

Medical conditions which may be aggravated:
Pre-existing conditions such as upper respiratory and lung diseases such as, but not limited to, silicosis, bronchitis, emphysema and asthma, conjunctivitis of the eye, and severe dermatitis. Target orgards are the lungs and eyes.

Chronic health effects:
This product does not contain any chemicals which are known to be hazardous due to long term exposure.

Procedures for spill/leak:
Sweep or vacuum material with equipment fitted with HEPA filter. Use a dust suppressant such as water if necessary.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

Handling: Minimize dust generation and accumulation. Minimize inhalation and eye contact.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry location.

EXPOSURE CONTROLS AND PERSONAL PROTECTION

Ventilation: Use sufficient natural or mechanical ventilation to minimize respirable dust from this product.
